Carrinho wins award for best Industry at FIB for the second consecutive year

The Carrinho Group was distinguished with the award for best Industry at FIB (Benguela International Fair) in recognition of its outstanding role in the industrial sector in Angola. Awarded during the event, this award underlines his commitment to sustainable development and the promotion of the country’s self-sufficiency.

The event, which took place from May 24 to 27 at the Ombaka National Stadium, is the second largest business exchange in the country. In this edition, Grupo Carrinho stood out among the competitors by presenting its main brands in an attractive stand. As a result, hundreds of visitors showed interest in learning more about the Group’s trajectory, products and services. Among them, we highlight the illustrious presence of His Excellency Minister of State and Economic Coordination, Manuel Nunes Júnior, and His Excellency the Governor of Benguela, Luís Nunes at the opening ceremony. On the penultimate day of the event, thirteen zungueiras offered at least one unit of basic basket products from the group’s brands to each visitor to the fair.

During the awards gala, Iury Rodrigues, Head Of Communication and Marketing of Grupo Carrinho, expressing his gratitude, declared that “the Group’s focus was to continue working to make Angola self-sufficient and that the awards are always a sign of this recognition”. He then reaffirmed that, as a Group, he will continue to work towards this vision.

Currently, the Group has developed projects with long-term impact, which aim to reduce dependence on imports and strengthen the national economy. In particular, we point to the construction of the largest sugar refinery in SADC and the investment in infrastructure to process soybeans and sunflowers.

Undoubtedly, the award for best Industry at FIB consolidates the Group’s position as a leader in the industrial sector in the national market. In addition, it reinforces confidence in current and future projects, which aim to transform Africa and raise Angola’s name in the global industrial landscape.
