The municipality of Ambriz, in Bengo province, is the next stage in the realization of the will and commitment of the Cart Group to contribute to the rapid economic recovery of Angola.
In this location, the construction of another large-scale project, called the Quintumbe Industrial Park, is being implemented, which will bring together 20 manufacturing units of high quality and safety standards, and can be considered one of the largest in the vertically integrated world food industry, and which is another challenge for the company and its employees.
With this project, which will have a processing capacity of 4.5 million tons/year of various raw materials, the Cart Group thus encourages the transformation of Angola into one of the largest exporters of food products in Africa, changing the paradigm of the country, which in the last three decades has become one of the largest importers in Africa, reversing its vocation as a producer on a world scale.
Grupo Cart’s medium-term vision is also based on expanding the supply of its products to markets in neighboring countries, in which the DRC occupies a place of influence, with a population of 88.8 million inhabitants.
